Tool Mart Supply lists more than 38,000 end mills with complete, filterable specifications — diameter, number of flutes, length of cut, overall length, coating, helix and shank size — so you can land on the exact tool instead of scrolling a catalog.
Picking an end mill in four decisions
- Profile. Square for slots, pockets and walls with sharp corners; ball for 3D surfaces and fillets; corner radius for roughing and anywhere a sharp corner would chip; chamfer for edge breaks and countersinks.
- Flutes. 2–3 flutes leave room for the big chips aluminum makes; 4 or more flutes run smoother and faster in steels, where chips are smaller and finish matters.
- Material. Solid carbide dominates CNC machining — it is stiffer and runs several times faster. HSS and cobalt tolerate flex and interrupted cuts better on manual machines.
- Coating. AlTiN or TiAlN for steels, stainless and dry cutting; uncoated or ZrN for aluminum, so chips don't weld to the flute.
What you'll find here
Brands on the shelf include Fullerton, Accupro, Harvey Tool, SGS, M.A. Ford, RobbJack, OSG and Cleveland — from general-purpose 4-flute carbide to high-performance variable-helix roughers. Every product page carries the full spec table, and the stock-check link confirms availability and ship time before you order. Dull tools don't have to be dead tools either: see regrinding.
