Shipping

Where & how we ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Shipping is calculated at checkout from real-time carrier rates for your address and order weight — you see the exact cost before you pay. No handling fees, no surprises.

Not shipping internationally right now — ask us if that changes your plans.

Processing time

In-stock items ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Orders are processed Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm PT; weekend orders start processing the next business day.

If an item needs extra sourcing time, we'll contact you with a ship date — wait, split the shipment, or cancel the unshipped item. Your call.

Oversize & freight (LTL)

Machine vises, chucks, and large workholding ship via LTL freight. We'll send you a freight quote for approval before anything is charged or shipped.

Loading dock or forklift on site? Tell us — it lowers the cost. Liftgate and residential delivery available on request.

Local pickup / will-call

SoCal machinists: skip shipping entirely. Request will-call pickup when ordering and we'll email you the moment it's ready — most in-stock items same or next business day.

16741 ½ Parkside Avenue, Cerritos, CA 90703 · Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm PT

Arrived damaged? We handle it. Report damage, shortages, or wrong items within 10 days of delivery and we'll make it right at no cost — we even file the carrier claim ourselves. On LTL deliveries, note visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Shipments are F.O.B. Origin per our Terms of Service, but a damaged arrival is our problem to fix, not yours.

Returns

The basics

Return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, as long as they're:

  • Unused — a tool that has touched material can't go back into stock (defects are covered separately, below)
  • In the original packaging with all labels, cases, and inserts

Restocking fee — often $0

  • Refunds carry a 15% restocking fee (most industrial suppliers charge 20–25%)
  • Waived entirely when you take an exchange or store credit — wrong spec for the job? We'll get you the right tool
  • Never charged on defects, our errors, or transit damage — those are full refunds including original shipping

How to return (RMA required)

Email or call us
Send your order number and the item(s) to returns@toolmartsupply.com or call 562-261-5366.
Get your RMA number
Usually within one business day, with the return address.
Ship it back within 14 days
Write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Use a trackable service.

Returns without an RMA number can't be processed and may be refused. Refunds go to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection. We pay return shipping when the return is our fault; otherwise it's on you.

Defects & warranty — beyond 30 days

Every tool we sell is covered against manufacturing defects. If a tool fails early from a defect (not normal wear or a machine crash), contact us — we coordinate the manufacturer warranty claim for you and arrange replacement or credit per the manufacturer's terms, even after the return window closes.

What can't come back

  • Custom work — custom tooling, modified tools, regrinds
  • Special-order items (case-by-case — ask first; standard fee applies when accepted)
  • Opened coolants, lubricants & chemicals
  • Worn or opened PPE (hygiene regulations)
  • Calibrated instruments with broken seals
  • Clearance / final-sale items, marked at purchase
Not sure if something's returnable? Ask before you order. We'd rather help you pick the right tool the first time — that's what our cross-reference team does all day.
